Sunset Memories: Bus Ride Kio had only been in the city for a few days when he started hearing about the excursions to the Farmlands. It was described as a special occasion that promised to be beautiful, and he was determined not to miss the opportunity. While sitting on the charter bus, Kio managed to pack a few canvases, some paint, and a carrier for all of it, placing it next to him. Since it seemed like it would be a long ride, he also brought along some snacks for the trip.
After the first half hour or so he finally turned to the person next to him, offering them something to snack on.
"Want one?"
Sunset Memories: Painting the sky As the sun set over the desert, it painted the sky with fiery hues, showcasing vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows. The clean, dry desert air enhanced the brilliance of these colors, making them more vivid compared to the dull greys that others seemed so concerned about. Kio had set up the portable easel he brought along and was working on a quick sketch of the landscape while everyone waited for the moths to appear. As the moths began to emerge, Kio painted their translucent white wings onto the canvas, blending them with the reds, oranges, and yellows of the setting sun.
Later, while sitting next to a campfire, he continued to work on one of his paintings. This piece captured the moment when one of the moths landed on another spectator. He focused on adding more detail, working with pastels and charcoal to get the colors just right.
Weather Wise: It was typical for Kio to arrive right at the beginning of the monsoon season, and to top it off, he didn’t even have any rain gear. Living near the canal only complicated matters, as he would likely have to contend with a lot of water. While everyone else was busy preparing sandbags and making other arrangements for the impending rain, Kio was simply trying to find the essentials.
"Hey, do you know where I can find an umbrella or a raincoat?"
