Viktor | Arcane | current player/character

[i; care team]

[An abundance of caution and two separate engineering degrees at work had ensured the small houseboat docked near the hospital had weathered the storm with minimal issue. Light damage, some things knocked about here and there, nothing that was in need of immediate attention. Which meant Viktor could shift his focus to what did need attention; neither particularly mobile nor very skilled with anything medical, he'd been directed towards food preparation. Easy enough; he was excellent with his hands as well as passable in a kitchen, occasionally looking up from whatever he was currently doing to gently direct someone else looking for cooking instructions.]

[It was all a good deal more direct than the kind of paradigm-shifting change he always hoped for, but...well, maybe a perspective on the smaller picture of things wasn't the worst thing.]

[ii; cruising]

[Evacuation, even a temporary one, had seemed like a bit of an overreaction to Viktor--who, when faced with work to do, wouldn't know 'rest' if it punched him in the nose. But there was clearly no arguing the matter, and it was not exactly an argument that could be overheard during room assignments.]

-do not quite follow, what do you mean exception? [And gods help the poor worker that handed Viktor the slip of paper with his assignment, because both of them were at a loss in the way of a critical miscommunication. 'Uh...well, we're not going to randomly split up married couples-']

...What.

[He glanced down to the paper in his hand, finding the minor and yet very major clerical error that no doubt came from not having a last name. Hurriedly pocketing a room assignment labeled Jayce and Viktor Talis (rather than 'Viktor and Jayce Talis', of course) Viktor quickly mumbled a hurried thanks and excuse to leave muffled by the hand now covering a face rapidly turning pink as he shuffled off.]

[On the cruise ship proper, Viktor didn't go too far out of his way to do much--the interior felt a little too busy for his taste, though at night he could easily be found out on the deck. 'Easily', because of the enormous waverider sitting tranquilly next to him. This was clearly not strange enough to be worth attention, the hand not on Viktor's crutch resting on the railing as he stared distantly out to the stars reflected in the ocean's surface.]

[iii; wildcard]

[most anything else, i'm p flexible. giant axolotl optional.]
