Oh, well...I believe it's mostly personal preference - there's not rule saying you shouldn't. Some people use their names, while others like myself use something more personalized and fun-sounding. Um...so long as you're not giving away any kind of information that's too personal, I think a name should be fine.

[Besides, she uh...didn't think it was a name right off the bat? Though, considering the crowd Maria hangs around with (anthropomorphic animals), Bear really could be someone's name.]
