[Maria just smiles, happy to talk about her time on the ARK. Though it was a bit boring at times, because there were so few children her age to talk to and play with, it was still home. Yes, I did!! And there were certainly pros and cons, but I have to be honest...I think I quite like it better here on this version of Earth. Everything feels so much, um...warmer? More comfortable, ah--cozy! That's the word.
But being up in space, it's pretty wonderful - we overlook the Earth, and it really is such an intensely beautiful planet...so blue. But we can also sometimes view certain weather phenomenon from the many viewing windows and platforms, as well!! The aurora borealis is much clearer viewed from space, and we can also sometimes see large meteorological storms.
Oh, and of course, getting to se so close to the moon is incredible, too, and the stars...
