[ Fluttershy certainly is nervous - who wouldn't be, when meeting Death? She'd always been afraid when that something would happen to her and her friends during their most dangerous adventures, something that would lead them to meeting Death too soon.

But there's also a sort of... respect as she's meeting him fact-to-face now. As sensitive as she is, many people forget just how much death she's actually seen, when taking care of animals. Not only is death simply a part of nature - many animals kill others to survive, and as much as she loves all animals that's a fact she had to accept. Not only that, but many animals don't live as long as people, and she's had to witness many of her animal friends pass on.

And there were also accidents and other things that often cut animals' lives short. And she knew better than most that there were even times, as much as it hurt, when death was perhaps the kindness thing they could do for an animal.

So, after another moment, Fluttershy manages a small smile - it's a bit shaky, but also sincere. As are the words that she speaks. ]
