[Viktor is undoubtedly not the only newcomer here - there's a whole gaggle of people popping in left and right - but he's probably one of the small few who clearly is not, uh...in the best of health, so to speak. And the cold is not kind to those in that unfortunate grouping, and though Maria is adoring the snow (she hasn't felt an actual, tangible atmosphere in years), she's not ignorant to the fact that it is...not being kind to her condition.

The dry air is like inhaling tiny shards of glass, and her lungs ache the longer she's out, and her muscles are sore and ache from the cold seeping in. Much like Viktor, she looks pale, gaunt, and notices he's struggling just as much as she is to get into warmer gear. Her fingers are starting to kind of tingle in a bad way... Even so, she approaches slowly and offers a shy smile.]

Excuse me...sir? If it's alright, I can help you with that. [She points to the coat, and her eyes flicker down to the brace and crutch, smile turning a little bittersweet.] I know what it's like to have to change when you can't do it as well as others can...

[She's been in a wheelchair, had to use a walker, and other tools for a while during her recovery before she acclimated to the ARK. It was, uh...no fun!! No fun at all!]
