Eggman shot a thumbs up back to Metal as he eased into the water, being careful to do so at carefully measured degrees so as not to overwhelm his body. It takes several minutes before he's fully submerged, but he manages it all the same.

"Ha! S-see, Metal Sonic?! Nothing t-to worry about! I'm w-well insulated a-and n-not s-suffering from hypothermia! I-I'll stay in the water for the required t-time j-just fine!"
