It’s in a horse-drawn carriage of all places, a place any sane person would want to sit down if only due to safety concerns, but Three still looks like it may as well be sitting on a bed of nails. Its posture is tense, its brow furrowed, and it keeps looking around like someone is about to come chase it off.
Naturally, when an unfamiliar human approaches, Three springs back to its feet on instinct. At the very best, it expects to be told to leave. So when instead the woman apologizes to it for interrupting its ride (its ride?), it is naturally at a loss.
