[It's difficult for Lobo to recognize everyone he's encountered in his existence, even the ones who try to cheat Death, or toy with the concept. Reincarnation is more or less fine with the big wolf, because it's still technically death - he reaps the soul and the body decays as it should - but there are other things that make him want to tear people limb from limb. Mockeries of death, asking or wishing for immortality or even an extension to their lives, and undead especially...make him furious. Because they all abuse the very nature of Death itself, and laugh or even spit in his face. He knows he's feared, but never asks to be, never longs to be. However, he does demand respect, as all other beings do, and is respectful in turns to those who accept that he is...who and what he is. An unstoppable force, closure, the end of a story. Important to the balance of the universe as a whole...because without Death, what meaning is there to living Life to the fullest?
So he doesn't...quite remember Aqua. Maybe in time he'll have it click, but considering how this place works, and how relaxed and docile he feels from that marvelous bath, Lobo isn't really too focused on peering too hard into this one's soul and finding out the truth. He has time, after all - an eternity's worth.]
So long as no one makes it uncomfortable, amigo...I say let an old dog learn some new tricks. [He chuckles at the stupid joke, grabbing another towel and running it through his fur.]
