If Alice had her way, she'd just be leaping to the rooftops and calling it a day, worrying about her friend's safety first and literally everything else after that. But... she probably shouldn't go too crazy. New arrivals probably aren't meant to have that much power, right? So she sticks to the streets, walking a relatively short distance with purpose until she finds a handy park with a bench. The grass is covered in snow, but the trees are pretty, and the bench is... perhaps magically cleared? Either way it's dry, so Alice gives thanks for small mercies and sets Mana down onto it, as gently as she can. She doesn't check if Mana's asleep; it wouldn't be surprising, but either way, it doesn't change her plans.

She's torn over whether to tend to Mana first or just stick close to her until asked to do otherwise; for the moment, her anxiety over the situation wins, and she slides onto the bench beside her, scooting in close, Alice's proximity enough to help keep them both a little warmer. She hesitates another moment, before guiding Mana to lean over just a bit, head resting on Alice's shoulder. The contact, proving the other girl's still there and not just a mirage, is grounding, even as her face colors a little.

"Please take it easy for a bit," Alice assures her softly. "It should be quieter here. And when you are ready to talk to me... I will be here for you."
