Hello fellow player!

Saw that there hasn't been a CR meme in this game thus far so thought that it would be fun to do! I'm sure you all know the drill but this is for the purpose of helping people reach out to other characters they may not have had the opportunity to and see if they can form the beginnings (or advancements) of relationships, positive or negative.

Below is a template you can feel free to use or edit as you please.

Character Name: Lace
Canon: Hollow Knight / Silksong
Character Age: Game is vague but she has seen the long fall of a kingdom so I place her around 200~300
General Info: Lace is an artificial being created by a Goddess to fulfill the role of being her daughter while treating her more like an ignored slave. She was never allowed the opportunity to grow as a person or develop her own personality (yknow without having to hide and squash herself).

She can be a nasty piece of work sometimes and while she will never kill without reason also doesn't particularly see much wrong with it. She considers herself a subspecies--barely even a lifeform and because of her long history of abuse, the loss of her entire family and more she's a pretty bad state coming fresh out of all that.

As a general warning Lace is a suicidal character and is currently actively letting herself "unravel" so if that subject (or any others listed here are ones you would not like me to bring out feel free to opt out of them or the character entirely.

Housing: For the first two months she was here Lace was wary of the Council so did not take them up on the free housing. She finally has, however, and has settled down in the Farmlands. You will likely see her around there working on the farm or stargazing.

Given the set up of the homes here I am happy to play her with roommates sharing the same house or near each other. Maybe they can sometimes work together on the farm?

Desired CR/Hooks:Hoooo boy.

Lace is cynical as hell, is going through it, and has pretty much never had conversation with more than maybe 3ish other people in her entire life until coming here. So she's not good with the knowing how to navigate others.

- Friends. She needs them. Thing is she has high walls, is cynical, kinda just doesn't want to be, all in all she can also be rude. She's been playing mostly nice so far since she's still kinda awed by this wholly different world and is convinced if she doesn't she'll be booted back home but. Yea. So folks will have to be pretty patient with her to get her to a tolerable place.

- Exceptions to rudeness are kids. She's not an asshole to them and would be protective. Obviously she won't be dumping any of her woes on them but I think it would be nice for her to get someone to be a big sister to.

- As a silk construct Lace needs magical silk in order to survive. Without it she will become frayed, weaker, and eventually unravel which is death for her. Within her canon the type of silk she needs must come from the god who created her or weavers but I will play a little looser with it here and say that anyone that can conjure silk or handle any fabric magically can "repair" her.

- This will be way, way (waaay) down the line but I would enjoy having Lace be able to write and perform music and share. She would want to do it anonymously so someone who could show her how to use technology to do that.

- Works on in the Farmlands so could meet others there?

- Other constructs and/or people who have held to deal horrendously abusive parental/caregivers.

- People to antagonize who can't take it. She wouldn't how fun with people who are too timid/easily frightened.

- Therapist--someone to actually help her come to terms with her past, what she is, and help her find who she is.

- Someone for Lace to become unhealthy, emotionally attached to someone. Given all her life she's been under (literal) control of a God, her mother figure, Lace is not going to know who how to function without someone being some sort of guidance for her--even if that guidance is only what Lace believes they would want or expect out of her. Please note this is not something I intend to play as comedic and will involve a lot of things mentioned in her opt out post. That means I will only want adults for this and they would probably have to share a strong trait with Lace.

Currently Doing: Lace lived all her life underground so she's largely just been enjoying the sights. She has only talked to a handful of people and has pretty much just been refusing to get an repairs since she just wants to pass away peacefully here. Emily and Hornet are making sure that doesn't happen.

She will be involved with Poppi in this month's zombie plot and they will be working together to cut them down and help people out.

Character Name: Labubu
Canon: The Monsters
Character Age: Kasing hints that Labubus have been around since the dinosaurs so who knows. She acts very childish though.
General Info: Adorable little treasure elf that lives in a Nordic Fairy Forest in some far away land.

At first glance, Labubu seems to be your typical trickster elf, happy to stir up trouble, startle people, and cause general mischief. Not to mention she seems very child-like, so she enjoys bullying others if it give she a good laugh. Although that could also be seen as a form of affection.

Despite her appearance, Labubu is a good person deep down and has a heart of gold. If someone needs cheering up, you bet she'll put her all into it... even if it doesn't work out. While she generally has good intentions, Labubu is somewhat clumsy, often causing good actions to blow up in her face, or for already bad things to turn worse. She tries her best though and means well for the most part. If given the choice, she'd rather see you smile than run away shrieking. Most of the time. She is a child at heart, and sweet as children can be, they can be rather cruel without meaning to, which applies to Labubu as well. Try to take it at face value. If told what she's doing wrong, she will listen and try to better herself. Most of the time. There are moments where if you tell her to stop doing something, she'll continue to do said thing. (Such as brushing her fur the wrong way if you tell her to brush it correctly.)

Although she doesn't have much experience directly interacting with humans, Labubu is very observant — watching and learning, scheming. However, when shown respect, she offers it in return, hoping to be a gracious host and friend.

Housing: In the City, sharing an apartment with Seto Kaiba.
Desired CR/Hooks: Friendships! Labubu's an energetic little gremlin who wants to inspire people to be happy and know that they'll always have a friend in her.

Currently Doing: Labubu's been helping out at the W.I.Z.A. the past month on weekends and attends school at Minnow Elementary during the week. Most of her evenings consist of her working off her energy so poor Kaiba can finally relax.

General Info: Zack is a bright, optimistic, all-loving himbo type from a world that chews up those types of people for breakfast. He's ex-military and has a little lingering trouble hanging over his head from that time (see permissions post, but I won't bring up the details without plotting/consent). But most of all he loves people, is grateful to have a second chance at life, and wants to do his best to help!

Housing: He lives alone in an apartment for now. It finally has furnishings...except he might be about to adopt a Rockruff, so he's gonna have to puppy-proof it all.

Desired CR/Hooks: Zack is pretty good at nudging wallflowers off the wall/trying to get people out of their shells. He's stubbornly optimistic so he can keep trying to make your character smile if that's what you want! He's also stupidly loyal and protective, so if yours are involved in the undead event he can step in and help that way too.

Currently Doing: (Currently working on a TL for this) He'll be lighting torches to try to herd the undead during the event, and supporting people who have the means to dispose of them. There's a Cure spell he can use if he finds anyone injured.

He's also currently in a bit of a weird spot because his best friends are dating and also one of them is having memory issues that Zack can either help or hurt with if he's not careful, so he's trying to figure out how to be in their lives and not cause trouble.

Canon: Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters
Character Age: 17
General Info: Kaiba is...not the poster child of kindness. He's the CEO of a gaming tech company, obnoxiously competitive, and was formerly the 'I'm not here to make friends' guy in his canon. He has...been worn down over time, and sort of cares about some people sometimes. It's a work in progress.

Housing: He shares an apartment with Labubu! It's furnished with plenty of crafts and toys for her, and helping her with schoolwork and looking after her helps give his life structure. The big brother energy's ingrained deep in him.

Desired CR/Hooks: Kaiba just needs to meet more people in general! He's good at odd jobs that involve mechanical work, so if you need something repaired he'll step in for the right price. He's also very interested in games (board games/card games/video games) so he's always up for a challenge!

Currently Doing: He's currently taking in the new exhibits around town, caring for a Goomy that moved to the roof of their apartment on a rainy day, and is just living life this spring. I have a TDM TL here if you'd like it!

Meowzy

Character Name: Vox
Canon: Hazbin Hotel
Character Age: Midlife Crisis age- I mean... He died when he was 50 and spent another 75 years or so in Hell.
General Info: Vox is a scummy man who gets up to scummy things in canon! But everyone's a terrible person in Hell, so it's excused, right? (It is not.) He's trying not to do anything bad in public here in Iyashikei, because public image matters and he'd like to avoid being sent back to Hell. This man built his career in 1930s to 1950s Hollywood, so he knows how to put up a charming front. He's started his own media company here, with a side focus on advanced technology. Iyashikei needs some quality television! And he's not just doing that for clout, he really does have a passion for movies, game shows and all that jazz.

Housing: He lives in the VoxCo penthouse all by himself, like a loser.

Desired CR/Hooks: Vox is always interested in talking to people about movies and other media. And technology. And sharks. If your character needs a job, VoxCo has loads of openings, especially for inventors/engineers, writers, costume designers, etc. VoxCo's engineering department also works on commission, so if a character needs some kind of device or vehicle made, they can probably do it! Also, go right ahead and ask him about how the TV head works, he doesn't mind.

Currently Doing: Oh he is in trouble actually. The necromancer got his hooks in him and turned him into an unwilling accomplice. Eventually, there'll be a boss fight and leading to his death (like, the 'destroyed soul' kind of death). The Council can bring people back though, so he'll be recovering in the hospital for a week or two afterwards. But he's still getting a Pokémon after! I'm thinking Yamper.

Anything else: I know what his canon is, I know it's not for everybody. If you want to let me know Vox is not your cup of tea, his opt-out is always open!

Kurogane

Character Name: Kurogane
Canon: Tsubasa: Chronicle
Character Age: 28-ish
General Info: A tall, gruff ninja who really exhibits more traits of a samurai than a ninja in practice. Acts like an edgelord but was born to be a caring father figure. He wields a katana and loves it when he's given a good challenge in a fight. His left arm is actually a very realistic-looking, technologically-advanced prosthetic. He's been traveling to other worlds for some time already with his companions, so he's well aware of how different things can be between worlds and he's quick to adapt. Also, he carries some childhood trauma involving people being eaten by monsters ("demons"), so that's still a touchy subject for him.

Housing: He lives with his two castmates: Fai and Sakura!

Desired CR/Hooks: Sparring partners, mayhaps? I know Fai was already setting up playdates with a few characters for him.

Currently Doing: He's still somewhat getting settled. During the necromancy plot, he'll help Sakura out with putting up a safe haven for people.

General Info:

Helpful, cheerful, and selfless. She can be sleepy, can take on too much, and exhaust herself, especially in earlier canon. She wants to do as much as she can to help out, though, and this can include putting herself at risk at times. Sakura, personality-wise wise is generally rather similar to her CCS counterpart in being bubbly and friendly, energetic, and still with feelings for Syaoran that develop over the course of the series, given she loses her memories of him at the start of the series. She can get anxious over her companion's safety, given the dangerous situations they face in obtaining her feathers/memories, though.

Housing: With Fai and Kuropapa.

Desired CR/Hooks:

I did have CCS Sakura here. So people are welcome to get confused???? with that. She's not exactly making a secret of having lost her memories, either. So if anyone wants to do anything with that in their attempts to help/learn more about her situation or something. If anyone wants to take advantage of how ditzy/trusting she is. But be warned that Kuropapa will not be happy. idk I am open to whatever, really! She's still pretty new, so.

idk. I may ask about potentially seeing if I can play around with having feathers show up as a player plot?? Not sure yet.

Currently Doing: She will be setting up a space for people to come rest/recover if injured/get supplies for somewhere safe to stay during the whole. basically zombies chaos. Which, Fai and Kurogane will also be Around, of course. Keeping an eye to make sure she is alright and safe during it all.

Anything else: not me still salty this is the closest we have ever gotten to Syaosaku actually kissing.

Character Age: 16, currently 17 in-game
General Info: Pauline is an ordinary teenager from Earth circa 2010; she's friendly and kind, if not a bit excitable, but also anxious, insecure and a bit high-strung. She works hard and takes on extra work because she thinks it will make people like her, though she does genuinely enjoy being helpful. She’s got a bit of an inferiority complex and tends to see herself as being beneath others. She enjoys baking and has picked up bits and pieces of various skills from her time as being an extra pair of hands for just about every club at her school back home.

Housing: Pauline lives in the city proper in a small, semi-cramped studio apartment (rough approximation, pretend there are doors and windows) by herself.

Desired CR/Hooks: I’m up for anything! People to hang out with, people to boss her around, etc so on. She works a lot of odd jobs, so she’s basically all over the place all the time. She also eats like a horse and can be found at any given eatery at any given time.

Currently Doing: I’m planning for her to enroll at Yadah eventually to study potions. She’s also working through her issues and trying all kinds of jobs to try and find some sort of calling. I may try to have her start up some kind of Bike-based baked good sales at some point but that won’t be for a while. For now, she’ll probably be selling baked goods at any festivals that allow it.

Character Age: 100-200s~ Appears mid-20s
General Info: Fai is a cheerful mage who has a dark past that includes the death of his twin brother and being manipulated by two different people! Fun times! He went on a journey where he met Kurogane, Sakura, Syaoran, and Mokona with the intent to keep them at a distance but ended up as thinking of them as family anyway. A lot of things happened and now he's a vampire! But can only drink Kurogane's blood. He'll try to befriend people, but don't be fooled by his smile, he's no pushover.

Housing: In a lovely little house with Kurogane and Sakura!

Desired CR/Hooks: Frieeeends, people to hang out with and get to know. Maybe there's a kid or two who needs adopting?

Currently Doing: He's been saving up to run a cafe! Which he's close to getting a business license for that, otherwise just settling in and enjoying himself. Fai (and Kurogane) will be part of the necromancer plot in terms of helping Sakura set up a medical place and then protecting it, so if anyone wants to plot for that.

Stolas

Character Age: 30s
General Info: Stolas was born as royalty as a Goetia demon prince with the responsibility of reading and prophetizing the stars! He has a daughter, Octavia, along with a boyfriend now, Blitz. There's some serious depression happening with this bird, but he's been going to therapy and medicated for it so he's doing a lot better here than in canon. Either way, he's been banished so he's without his magic powers for the next 100 years. He enjoys singing dramatic songs, reading, gardening, and learning.

Housing: He lives on the Outer Rim with Blitz, Octavia, Snow White, and Loona. They've a little plot of land out there, no farmland. Room for Snow's animals to wander (or Blitz to get a horse).

Desired CR/Hooks: Friendships, moar adults in his life to talk to, let him socialize. People who have the same interests.

Currently Doing: He's just kind of been on autopilot since I was hiatused, so going to school, the library, helping Octavia with her magic (specifically the grimoire). Plenty of people he knows are going to be in the necromancer plot and things are gonna go down. I know Corie wanted to do something with him and Blitz but otherwise I'm open to things.

Anything else: Helluva Boss being what it is and Stolas being who he is, I do have an Opt-Out area for anything that you want to avoid.

Character Age: Maybe 1 at this point?
General Info: Blades are weaponized lifeforms who transmit power to the person who incarnates them, called their Driver. Not everyone has the ability to become a Driver, so if you really really want to be a Driver but can't, you can just invent artificial Blade technology and voila! Product of three generations of proud Nopon engineering, Poppi is a sweet and pure girl whose only major issue is her fear that she'll destroy the world one day. No biggie.

(Yes, she has a magical girl transformation sequence. She was created by a nerdy shut-in.)

Housing: Poppi doesn't have a home! Since she doesn't need to sleep or eat, and she's very used to a roaming lifestyle, she has yet to see the need for one. Someone probably ought to convince her otherwise sometime.

Desired CR/Hooks: I'm up for pretty much anything, really. Poppi's just here to have a good time and spread kindness. She's particularly good for people who might not be here on purpose or might be struggling with the whole thing!

Currently Doing: Poppi's throwing down with a bunch of the Dead, with a planned teamup with Lace to really do some damage. She's willing to help out other people if they need it, and could always use a little help herself!

Character Name: Ryo Yamada
Canon: Bocchi the Rock!
Character Age: 18
General Info: Oddball bassist and songwriter of Kessoku Band, a talented but struggling teen girl indie rock band. A loner who needs a very narrow band of not too much or too little socialization, making her surprisingly high maintenance, especially without her girlfriend bff Nijika around. Terrible with money and a mooch, but otherwise extremely supportive of her friends, and a fierce defender of artistic integrity. ...but as long as the music itself is intact she has no qualms about doing what's necessary to get people to hear it.

Likes a wide variety of rock music, and is relatively an expert on Western (i.e. North American/European) rock bands; her own compositions are pretty developed for her age.

Despite being constantly broke, she comes from a very well off family as the only child of a hospital director and hospital board member. Eventually is gently but firmly pushed to try living on her own when she decides not to go to college.

Housing: In a cozy city apartment. Would not object to a roomie but she does well living alone. If you feed her you can visit unlimited times.

Desired CR/Hooks: Would like to find more musicians. She probably won't put together a band herself, but if anyone else wants to start a rock band and she likes the vibes she could join (and could actually be the keyboardist as well as the bassist), but otherwise just friends to jam with.

Other people who are into thrifting or eating plants they pick up off the ground.

Casual gaming friends? She has more time to git gud without a band eating up her time.

Currently Doing: Playing music and meandering around, needs to go put on more actual performances.

General Info:
the esteemed radio demon from hell's very own pride ring! in life, he was a radio host who died in the 1930s, and in death continued with that career. he's quite old fashioned and nostalgic, and quite the gentleman. he's also theatrical, flippant, cunning, cynical, mysterious, and always wearing a smile. he also has a couple odd quirks - he's smiling at all times, as an extension of him being "the radio demon," his voice is a bit odd! he speaks with a radio filter so he sounds like this!

he's also every bit as callous as one would expect a radio demon to be, with his morals being questionable at best, but not needlessly so. like most people, he's generally fine enough as long as he's not being provoked. conversations with him on those subject matters can be interesting though.

Housing:
he stays at husk's bar for the moment!

Desired CR/Hooks:
i hate to be that guy, but i'm really open to whatever with him! he's an old timey radio host who died in the 1930s, so anyone who's interested in that era might find him of interest. otherwise, he's someone who's easy to get cr with since he's an introvert pretending to be an extrovert. give me your positive cr, your negative cr, your really negative cr, your people who will tell him to make himself useful, your people who will be useless with him, gossip girlies, whatever.

Currently Doing:
HE'S VIBIN'. he's going to yeah, but that's not really my problem through the necromancer plot. he's from hell and people always doing smth crazy down there so it's cool, catch him acting like it's just a tuesday and generally being unhelpful. other than that, he just sort of does whatever so he can be wherever he needs to be. the most notable thing is that he can be found at the bar sometimes (albeit he never orders anything, or if he does it goes untouched,) but otherwise he's just kind of wherever.

General Info: If you don't know this canon, here's all you need to know about this version of Lucifer...

He's the literal Devil From Da Bible who was allegedly punished for giving humanity free will 10k years ago. His punishment? Serving as King of Hell—but only in title!

He can't interfere with human lives, can't smite anyone, can't stop the Angels from doing their yearly perma-unlifing party on all the Sinners, etc. Also his wife allegedly left him, but didn't take their daughter with her. So, he gets to be a single dad while hated by his kingdom, who spends a lot of time making rubber ducks with different magical abilities, crying at duck soap operas, and dealing withlawyers over copyright infringement nonsense (his brother trying to steal all his IDEAS, ugh).

... Oh right, said brother keeps trying to bribe him to come back to work, but [raspberry noises].

Now he's here and he doesn't have those shackles on anymore~

Desired CR/Hooks: I could use some silly and/or soft stuff after the necromancy plot is done... Maybe leaning a bit more silly. Give this guy more reasons to laugh.

Anything else: As said above, he's going into a coma riiiiight before the Necromancy plot really kicks off. That means he was awake and around long enough to squint at certain things, but passed out before he could really spot any weirdness. This is being done to prevent him from getting too passionately and aggressively involved in trying to hunt certain people down. It's really hard to hide dead folks and Angels from an unshackled Fallen Archangel.

I'm very excited for this plot, though!!! Cannot WAIT for him to be super conflicted over the final bosses. c:

General Info: Pure Vanilla is a small Cookie with an incredibly big heart. He loves everyone and everything around him selflessly, often times to his own detriment. It's whatever, he can sleep when he passes out on a random fountain. He's a Healer first and foremost, and though his magic does not work here properly against non-Cookies, he is still very skilled in the art of healing via herbology. There are enough similar plants between Earthbread and here that's he's picked that up again to supplement his magic being unable to help non-Cookies.

He's also incredibly skilled in many other Schools of Magic, many of which may be Cookie-based now but originated from human Witches and thus may be familiar to those who study Magic.

You can also use him like a flashbang or flashlight when he magic girl transforms. He also has a little magic bracelet gifted by the council that lets him turn human!

He's calm, kind, and incredibly sweet and loves you. Yes, you.

Housing: Pure Vanilla lives in a cute little gingerbread house styled like home on Sweet Street! His current roommate is Shadow Milk Cookie and it's a lot like having a cat who can't decides if it likes you or hates you.

Currently Doing: Pure Vanilla has taken over an empty classroom in the Academy and is holding his own healing classes! While he himself cannot heal humans with it, he can teach the fundamentals to others in hopes that they can heal others around him. It's not for everyone, as the very bases of White Magic (HIS white magic, which he himself is the founder of) is love. The stronger your love, the better you heal. But he welcomes any and all to come and try to learn!

General Info: Former experiment SOLDIER that is very much cool and not an utter dork when he allows himself to be himself, thank you very much. Very much a loner at heart, even though he thrives when he's around people he likes.

Housing: He's in his own apartment, though he's rarely actually in it. Seventh suite on the seventh floor, of course with balcony access for anyone with wings.

Desired CR/Hooks: Cloud desperately needs some friends and/or frienemies and/or straight up enemies. He can be as prickly as his hair and act like he's Mr. No Fun Allowed, but it's pretty easy for someone determined to crack that shell.

Typically he's found around doing all the odd jobs in exchange for star dust, so needing a favor is an easy hook to reel him in with. He wants to save up for a motorcycle, so the more jobs the better!

For anyone wishing for negative CR, Cloud is very much the heroic type, even if he'll say he's no hero. Stirring up shit = potential BAS to the face courtesy of a short blonde twunk.

I also want an excuse to break him at some point and get his memories of that missing time between the destruction of Nibelheim and waking up in Midgar back, so if your character can facilitate that, hit me up.

Currently Doing: Due to real life, I've had Cloud closed up in his shell, avoiding CR because he's having emotions that he doesn't know how to deal with. He's since made apologies and even met up with his best friend again, so that's good!

General Info: Teenage necromancer who is gradually becoming more open about being a necromancer. Magically and musically talented (Because necromancy works through music in her canon), friendly but morbid and prone to taking things seriously.

Sabriel is generally friendly and curious, but she has a serious and morbid side, and can come across as a little creepy when the topic of death and the dead comes up. She also loves to nerd out about magic, and can use a lot of non-necromantic magic as well! She can even heal people.

She's from the very start of her canon, and will probably end up getting canon updated in the next few months, at which point she will be extremely Not Okay.

Where to start... Agatha is a witch from Salem that grew up in a coven that hated her and her magic. Her mom only called her a demon child and all that fun stuff. Which lead to no one ever teaching her how to control her own powers, so she just kinda killed them all instead by siphoning their magic out. After that she a very complicated relationship with the cosmic being of death, had a kid and he passed at a young age due to natural causes. Resulting in her hating said cosmic being and never wanting to see her ever again.

Which led her down the evil path of getting a forbidden magic book called the Darkhold, killing more witches and then trying to take the powers of the scarlet witch. Agatha has killed a lot of people... Anyway, evil plans didn't work and she got stuck in a sitcom hell for 3 years and then had to deal with escaping that and out running more enemies and more fun things.

Pretty much evil witch that uses sarcasm and deflects talking about feelings because who needs those when you can just take people's magic.

and now she's been here for a year trying not to be evil.

Housing: Agatha has lived alone for the past year, but I'm open for her taking someone in as a roommate.
